1975 Initiation of post-earthquake rehabilitation-rural development efforts in Lice and Van, with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and other organizations.
1977 Consolidation of SDC-TKV collaboration.

1978

Opening of two education, publication, and support centers:

Ankara-Kazan Beekeeping Center,

Diyarbakır Livestock Center.

1982 Expansion of Rural Development-Livestock Improvement Programs to include Kayseri-Uzunyayla.
1982 Selection of TKV by the World Bank and the Ministry of Agriculture as the implementing organization for the Rural Poultry Component of the 5th Livestock Development Project in the Rural Areas, thus expanding the model that first emerged in Tarsus to other regions.
1983 Formation of the first three regional Koç-Tür poultry companies by poultry farmers in Ankara, Kayseri, and Diyarbakır regions.
1985 Convergence of Koç-Tür regional companies and their consolidation under a single roof, becoming Turkey's largest white meat producer.
1991 Commencement of an exemplary Open Livestock Breeding Business in Çubuk aimed at improving cattle farming and red meat production.
1995 Initiation of collaboration between TKV and the International Labour Organization (ILO) in vocational training for children working in rural areas.
1996

Expansion of TKV's rural credit program to cover multiple regions,

Initiation of maize cultivation (second product) among small producers and large-scale beekeeping efforts among small producers in the GAP Region by Ziraat Bankası and TKV,

Commencement of collaboration in the "Çok Amaçlı Toplum Merkezleri" (CATOM) program aimed at women-focused education by GAP BKİ and TKV.

1997 Initiation of collaboration in the "Management-Operation-Maintenance of GAP Irrigation Systems" (İBY) project between GAP BKİ and TKV.
1998 Commencement of pilot programs aimed at raising the status and income levels of women in Van and Diyarbakır provinces with the support of the European Union.
1999 Initiation of livestock development programs in Gümüşhane region in collaboration with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and TKV.
2000 Consolidation of three important income-generating activities targeting small producers, including beekeeping, cattle farming, and handicrafts, under a Joint Stock Company called Support Inc.
2001 Initiation of village-level studies in Diyarbakır-Eğil district.
2004 Initiation of rural development efforts in Amasya-Gümüşhacıköy district.

Participation in the 2007-2013 Ninth Development Plan OIP Works.

Participation in the EU Pre-Accession Instrument for Rural Development Component (IPARD) Works.

Continuation of handicrafts (carpet weaving) activities in Diyarbakır-Lice district.

Support for the GAP BKİ Koruklu Agricultural Research Project.

Participation in the forum organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2007 under the cooperation of the Turkish and Japanese governments.
